This breaky parfait is packed with protein, quality fat, and fiber, to fuel any athlete. If your goal is to maintain or lose weight, this is a perfect meal in itself. If your goal is to gain weight, double down on this recipe or add a few eggs to your breakfast. Kids love this recipe, its cheap, and takes minutes to prep. Do the prep the night before and you will thank yourself in the morning!
Step one: Add 1/4 Cup Chia Seeds to 1/2 Cup Milk, Coconut Milk, or Almond Milk. (Save $ and buy your chia’s in the Sprouts Bulk Section).
Step two: Whisk chias & milk until you get an even mixture, not doing so will result in clumps. Add a splash more of milk and whisk again.
Step three: Cover and refrigerate overnight. Any longer than overnight and it gets pretty weird.
Step four: The chia mixture will turn into chia pudding. Top with berries, bananas, mangoes, roasted cashews or granola, and drizzle with honey or add a spoonful of jam.
